This Sunday, December 18th will be the final Fairhaven Farmers Market.  Please join us and find your last minute local produce and gifts for the holidays.  The market will be held indoors at The Nemasket Gallery on 56 Bridge Street in Fairhaven from 1-4pm.  We will have bread, cookies, meat, honey, jam, eggs, chocolate and of coarse lots of veggies and fruit! Last OUTDOOR market of the year! Sunday Oct. 16.

Sunday, October 16th at Fairhaven High School will be the last outdoor farmers market. Starting on Sunday, October 23 we will hold the market indoors at Nemasket Gallery at 56 Bridge Street.  The market will be held indoors from 1-4pm on the following Sundays.

We have two wonderful non- profit groups joining us this weekend at the market. One is group M.O. LIFE.inc Check out their table tomorrow as well The New England Center for Homeless Veterans (NECHV).  These are both incredible organizations that both need community support.  Please visit their booths and find out more about what they do and how you can help.

Eco/Energy Fair at Farmers Market Sept. 18th

Visit our annual Eco/Energy Fair on Sunday Sept. 18th from 1-4pm.  It will be held on the lawn of FHS at the same time as the current Farmers Market.  We will have local non-profit environmental groups as well as businesses set up.  Come with all your questions about how you can join the green movement, save money, energy and help the environment in a few simple steps.  A great time to learn about all the new energy efficient changes you can make to your home before the cold weather.


Market Canceled for Sunday August 28th

We are canceling the market for tomorrow.  It is better for everyone to stay at home.  Spend some time canning and cooking all those delicious tomatoes and making basil pesto.  We will be back next week.

Farm Day Success!

We had a great time on Sunday Farm Day at the market.  Thanks so much to NFIA for helping get the tractors, farm equipment and cool cars to the market.  Thanks also to Run Dog Run Farm for bringing their goats and sheep to share with us and to Engelnook Farm for sharing Macho the Llama!  We were also lucky to have Theo the rabbit and Clara-Belle the chicken with us for the day.

Farm Day this Sunday!

Don't forget to visit this Sunday, August 21st.  We are planning on an extra special day with tractors, animals, games, fun, food and ofcoarse FARMERS!  From 1-4pm on the lawn of FHS.

FARM DAY August 21st at the market!

On Sunday, August 21st, along with the regular weekly farmers market in Fairhaven we will add Farm Day.  The market will run the regular hours from 1-4 pm on the lawn of Fairhaven High School but we will add many other special additions.  Stop by and check out tractors, milk trucks, old farm equipment on this special FARM DAY at the Market.  We will also have live animals joining us this day!  While you are shopping you can visit with the antique tractors, milk trucks and other fun farm equipment.  Entertainment and games for kids and music will also be provided.

This Sunday Story time! Kristine Daniels!

Local author Kristine Daniels will be reading her latest book at market this Sunday. Come sit with your blanket or chair and listen to this second, beautifully illustrated story about Floyd the Corgi and his adventures.    Kristine will have both her books available for purchase at the market.

While your listening you can enjoy eating some yummy veggies, blueberries, peaches, cookies, donuts, peanuts, and much more.  Of coarse you can also get a cold drink or Italian ice as well.  While shopping you can stock up for the summer cooking with local meats, potatoes, eggs, honey, breads and cheeses.

Market Starts Sunday! June 19th

Our 4th year of the Fairhaven Farmers Market starts this coming Sunday June 19th.  We are excited to be back again this season.  As always, we have the amazing Pumpkin Head Ted entertaining us on the lawn of FHS from 1-4 pm.  Stop by and get some strawberries along with all the other goodies we will have for sale.   See all the local farmers and friends at the market.  Bring your family, sit and enjoy the music and buy local food!

4th Season Fairhaven Farmers Market

Our fourth season of the Sunday Farmers Market in Fairhaven will be starting on June 19th from 1-4 pm.  We are excited to start thinking about the new season.  We will bring you more news about the market and the vendors very soon.
